Unique Range Rover Classic in Titan Silver in Pristine Condition to Be Sold at Auction

Specialists from JLR's Classic Works division have restored a 1993 Range Rover Classic and given it a finish inspired by the latest Range Rover SV Ultra. Both vehicles are painted in the exclusive Titan Silver colour and will be sold together on 14 August at RM Sotheby's auction during Monterey Car Week (California, USA).
The first-generation Range Rover is considered an iconic vehicle and is highly sought after by wealthy collectors today. Some of them send their Range Rover Classic to specialist workshops for a bespoke conversion, resulting in an upgraded off-roader with a more powerful engine. JLR's Classic Works division also works on tuning classic models, but not in this case — the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver retains its canonical technical specification with a 3.9-litre petrol V8 and a four-speed hydromechanical automatic gearbox, all of which has been brought to perfect condition and runs like clockwork.

The body of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver has also been brought to perfect condition and visually aligned with the Range Rover SV Ultra unveiled in April. The classic and the modern car share a common styling theme, including the Titan Silver colour with a liquid metal effect — achieved through real aluminium particles in the paint.

The 16-inch wheels of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver have been diamond-cut and feature the same two-tone finish as the 23-inch wheels of the Range Rover SV Ultra. The Range Rover lettering on the bonnets of both SUVs uses the same font.

The interiors of both cars are upholstered in Ultrafabrics fabric in the same grey-white colour scheme, with the seat backs adorned with a unique pattern created using laser perforation. The restoration and finishing of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver took over 2,000 hours. Equipment includes electrically adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a sunroof, and a modern audio system with Bluetooth connectivity for external devices, while the head unit is designed in a classic style.

The Range Rover Classic Titan Silver and the Range Rover SV Ultra LWB will form a single lot at RM Sotheby's auction in Monterey, with an estimated value of $750,000 to $950,000. We suspect it will reach a million during bidding, because a Range Rover Classic in perfect condition is certainly worth it.
