Aston Martin Vanquish marks quarter-century anniversary with special edition

A special version of the British marque's model will be produced in a limited run – just 50 examples. Of these, 25 will be coupés, and the remaining 25 will be convertibles bearing the Volante suffix.
Aston Martin began producing the Vanquish sports car in 2001, meaning the model celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026. To recap, the first generation remained on the production line until 2007, the second generation arrived in 2012 and was on sale until 2018. The Vanquish Vision concept was shown in 2019, but the model ultimately had to take a break for a few years. As a result, the current Vanquish sports car only replaced the DBS in early autumn 2024, and in spring 2025, the family was joined by an open-top version with the Volante nameplate.

To mark the quarter-century milestone, the British marque has decided to release a special edition of the model with a straightforward name – the Vanquish 25. Its development was handled by the Q by Aston Martin division, which is responsible for bespoke projects. The creators aimed to pay homage to the original through a series of exterior tweaks.

The anniversary edition features a Q Skye Silver body colour, metallic decorative inserts, stainless steel side sills, 21-inch forged alloy wheels, and badges on the bodywork denoting the special edition. Inside the two-door, there are also '25' emblems on the headrests, laser-engraved inserts, and a bright red start/stop button.

No mechanical changes have been made, so under the bonnet of the Aston Martin Vanquish 25 sits the standard 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, producing a maximum power of 835 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, and the two-door models come with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.

To recap, the current Aston Martin Vanquish coupé accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, while the Vanquish Volante convertible takes 3.4 seconds. The top speed also differs slightly: 214 mph for the coupé and 213 mph for the convertible.

Aston Martin will produce the Vanquish 25 special edition in a limited run of just 50 examples. Of these, 25 will be coupés, and the remaining 25 will be open-top versions. The live premiere will take place in August during the annual Monterey Car Week event in California. Deliveries to customers will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Meanwhile, Aston Martin recently unveiled a brutish V12-powered SUV called the Dreadnought. However, it was developed for the announced video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and unfortunately, such an off-roader cannot be purchased in real life.
