KC Motors' vehicle apparel brand MARQUAGE will unveil the Ineos Grenadier special project vehicle 'GREYCAP' for the first time at the '2026 Busan Mobility Show', which will be held at BEXCO in Busan from Friday the 26th to Sunday the 5th of next month.

The 'GREYCAP', an Ineos Grenadier special project vehicle being shown for the first time at the Busan Mobility Show, is a collaboration between MARQUAGE and Chabot Motors, the official South Korean importer of the British premium 4x4 brand Ineos Grenadier.

The 'GREYCAP', unveiled as a special edition, is a new type of customised vehicle that combines the rugged identity of a classic off-roader with aviation heritage. It reinterprets design elements from the Spitfire propeller fighter plane flown by legendary Royal Air Force (RAF) ace pilot James Edgar Johnson during World War II, using MARQUAGE's own contemporary automotive design language.

The exterior of the MARQUAGE 'GREYCAP' features various elements reflecting the design language of the propeller fighter plane, including propeller-shaped detailing on the front grille, a roof design reminiscent of an aircraft tail fin, and headlamp guards. A particularly striking aspect of the GREYCAP is its meticulous detailing inspired by actual fighter aircraft. Three-dimensional details replicating aircraft rivets are applied across the bodywork, and to recreate the panel gaps of an aircraft's outer skin, the paint thickness was intentionally increased before being machined down, achieving a three-dimensional effect and texture similar to that of real aircraft panels.

To maximise the distinctive feel of a fighter plane, the main colour used is 'MARQUAGE Aerial Alloy Silver', a glossy silver hue that replicates the metallic texture of an aircraft's outer skin, complemented by a tactical camouflage pattern using 'MARQUAGE Ghost Sky Blue', a matte sky-blue tone. To emphasise the heritage of RAF fighter aircraft, actual painting processes were used to apply the RAF Roundel graphic and the pilot's initials, while MARQUAGE logo button-shaped objects placed around the body add a mechanical feel and enhance the overall finish.

The interior design is also inspired by fighter jet cockpits and military equipment, ensuring a natural continuation of the exterior's aviation heritage. The seats use materials that replicate the texture of military tent fabric, with green and red colour accents, and a tactical plate is fitted at the rear to emphasise the distinctive atmosphere of tactical gear. Combined with highly detailed seat craftsmanship and an interface that captures the functionality and analogue feel of a fighter jet, the interior offers an immersive experience akin to sitting in a cockpit.

At this Busan Mobility Show, MARQUAGE plans to use the GREYCAP to showcase its brand philosophy of translating a vehicle's heritage and story into design. The company aims to further strengthen its position in the premium automotive customisation market, leveraging its outstanding technical capabilities and high design sensibility to reflect customers' diverse lifestyles and tastes.
