Renault expands promotions ahead of end of 30% individual consumption tax reduction at end of June

Renault Korea is running a promotion at its nationwide showrooms, offering prizes and purchase benefits for customers planning to buy a new car, as the 30% reduction in individual consumption tax comes to an end in June.

At Renault Korea showrooms across the country, a promotion is underway to support the South Korean national football team in the World Cup. Customers who visit a Renault Korea showroom in June and complete a test drive can take part in an event to predict the scores of the national team's football matches. Among those who enter, customers who correctly predict the match scores and purchase a vehicle will be entered into a draw to win prizes including ▲a travel voucher worth 1 million won (1 winner) ▲a fuel voucher worth 300,000 won (3 winners) ▲a deposit support prize (10 winners). All customers who complete a test drive and enter the event will receive a Renault car washing towel, and among those who correctly predict the match scores, 30 winners will be selected by draw to receive a chicken set.

Customers who visit a Renault Korea showroom on weekends in June and take a test drive will also receive a mobile gift voucher worth 5,000 won. Additionally, customers who test drive the Filante or Grand Koleos hybrid will be entered into a draw for extra prizes including action cameras, fuel vouchers, and fans.

Renault Korea has also prepared special purchase benefits for each model for customers buying in June, as the individual consumption tax applied to vehicle purchases is set to rise from the current 3.5% back to 5% from July.

First, a new '5-Year Worry-Free Buyback' product has been introduced for customers purchasing the flagship SUV Filante. For a monthly payment of just 280,000 won over five years, customers can use the Filante without worrying about residual value, maintenance, or warranty. Renault Korea guarantees a residual value of 53% after five years, based on an annual mileage of 10,000 km. The package includes free engine oil and air conditioner filter changes, five vehicle inspections, two free brake oil changes, and one free transmission oil change over the five-year period. It also includes a Happy Care extended warranty of 5 years/100,000 km.

For customers purchasing the Grand Koleos, a double benefit on individual consumption tax worth over 1 million won is on offer. Additionally, buyers can purchase the Grand Koleos with an interest-free instalment plan of up to 36 months. Customers who buy the Grand Koleos using a standard fixed instalment plan or a smart deferred and residual value guarantee instalment plan will receive an additional special benefit of 1 million won.

For customers purchasing the coupé-style SUV Arkana, they can choose between a fuel cost support of 2 million won or a 36-month interest-free plan. Customers who buy the Arkana using a standard fixed instalment plan or a residual value guarantee instalment plan will receive special benefits of 1 million won for the 1.6 GTe model and 500,000 won for the hybrid E-Tech model.
