Tata Daewoo Mobility launches ‘Sen’ mobile service operation and expands quality assurance
Tata Daewoo Mobility (President Kim Tae-sung) has set out to strengthen its customer service competitiveness. On Thursday, 18th, the company announced that it had conducted a mobile free inspection service for customers of its medium-duty truck, the DEXEN, at its Anseong Service Centre in Gyeonggi Province. It is also enhancing customer service quality through expanded warranty policies for key models and the operation of specialised maintenance infrastructure.
This mobile service was designed to improve the driving safety and maintenance convenience of DEXEN customers in the southern Gyeonggi region. On the day of the event, free inspection services were provided for items directly related to vehicle operation, including fault diagnosis, inspection of major components, and forced regeneration of the DPF. Vehicles requiring additional maintenance were supported with follow-up services through the Anseong Service Centre.
Benefits were also prepared for customers who participated in the service. Those who received the service were given an antibacterial filter and wiper blades, along with a maintenance discount coupon worth 100,000 won, redeemable at the Anseong Service Centre.
The Anseong Service Centre is one of Tata Daewoo Mobility's key service hubs. It operates five dedicated DEXEN work stalls, providing specialised maintenance services for medium-duty truck customers. This helps reduce waiting times and supports prompt servicing.
In addition to on-site services, Tata Daewoo Mobility is also strengthening its warranty policies. From this month, for new vehicles of the MAXEN heavy-duty truck and the KUXEN medium-duty truck equipped with the ED70 engine and ZF automatic transmission (ZF8AP), the transmission warranty period has been extended from the previous three years (unlimited mileage) to five years or 500,000 km.
This warranty extension is a measure to reduce customers' maintenance burdens and increase vehicle uptime, based on confidence in transmission quality. Tata Daewoo Mobility continues to expand its customer support system through its nationwide service network. Following the recent launch of the HIXEN medium-duty truck targeting the general load market, which strengthened total cost of ownership (TCO) competitiveness, the company is also working to improve the post-purchase customer experience through better maintenance accessibility, expanded warranties, and the operation of mobile customer service programmes.
