Jeep спустя десятилетия вернул в строй внедорожник Wrangler Laredo

The price of the new special edition of the American brand's model is already known: the three-door version costs at least $53,240, while the five-door version costs $55,620.

The Jeep brand, part of automotive giant Stellantis, continues to celebrate its 85th anniversary and release various versions of the classic off-roader as part of the Twelve 4 Twelve campaign. This involves releasing 12 special editions of the Wrangler over 12 months, with the start having been given in November 2025. To date, the ninth modification is already ready, and this off-roader has been given the familiar name Jeep Wrangler Laredo.

It is worth remembering that a version with this name already existed in the model's line-up: the modification was produced between 1987 and 1995. The addition of Laredo to the name is a reference to the city of the same name in the state of Texas (USA), which lies on the border with Mexico. As the manufacturer noted, the new special edition was inspired by the American south-west and has received a number of solutions recreating the trim of the model from the 1980s.

The Jeep Wrangler Laredo is based on the Willys version with the Xtreme 35 package, so this off-roader gets revised suspension, increased ground clearance, and bronze-finished 17-inch alloy wheels with beadlocks, shod with 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 off-road tyres.

Among the exterior features of this version of the model is the signature radiator grille with seven slots and a bronze-sand frame; the same colour is used for the tow hooks integrated into the lower part of the front and rear bumpers, the decals on the sides, and the special edition name lettering on the side edge of the bonnet. The model is also fitted with a sand-coloured soft top, while a black hard top or the Sky One-touch power roof are optionally available.

The interior has also received its share of changes. In the Jeep Wrangler Laredo, the front seats are upholstered in brown leather with gold stitching, and feature power adjustment and heating. Stitching of the same colour appears on the black steering wheel and the gear lever gaiter. There is also an emblem with the special edition name located on the centre console.

The special edition's mechanicals are standard: under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine, with a maximum output of 289 hp and torque of 353 Nm. The engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The price of the Jeep Wrangler Laredo is already known: on the American market, the three-door version costs at least $53,240 (equivalent to approximately 4.12 million roubles at the current exchange rate), while the five-door version will set you back $55,620 (around 4.31 million roubles).

For the record, as part of the Twelve 4 Twelve campaign, Jeep has already released a version of the off-roader designed to take customers back to the bold, expressive era of the 80s and 90s – the Jeep Wrangler Rewind.
