Hyundai launches price-adjusted '2027 Ioniq 5

Hyundai Motor has announced that it will launch the '2027 Ioniq 5' from Tuesday 9th, featuring a revised trim lineup and enhanced price competitiveness.

For the 2027 Ioniq 5, Hyundai has reorganised the long-range model into five trims: ▲ E-Lite ▲ Modern ▲ Premium ▲ Inspiration ▲ N Line, while the standard model will be consolidated into a single trim: ▲ E-Value+.

The Modern trim is an optimised version of the previous Exclusive trim, with a price reduction of 1.6 million won. The Premium trim, which optimises the specifications of the previous Prestige trim, has been reduced by 900,000 won.

The Inspiration is a new top-tier trim that comes with premium safety and convenience features as standard. It includes 'Parking Assist', comprising ▲ Surround View Monitor ▲ Forward/Side/Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist ▲ Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, and 'Comfort Plus', which includes ▲ Passenger Power Seat (with leg rest and relaxation comfort) ▲ Front Seat Memory System ▲ 2nd Row Power Sliding Seat, all fitted as standard.

Additionally, Hyundai has enhanced the product appeal of the 2027 Ioniq 5 by adding a tailgate emergency lamp to all trims and making a 100W USB charging port standard from the Premium trim upwards.

The selling prices for the 2027 Ioniq 5, after electric vehicle tax benefits, are as follows (based on 2WD):

Standard - E-Value+: 47.35 million won

Long Range - E-Lite: 50.64 million won - Modern: 52.90 million won - Premium: 58.25 million won - Inspiration: 61.50 million won - N Line: 59.45 million won

Meanwhile, to mark the launch of the 2027 Ioniq 5, Hyundai is running a customer event from Tuesday 9th June to Friday 31st July, where 200 customers who purchase the 2027 Ioniq 5 will be selected by lottery to receive a voucher for one display theme.

In addition, the 'Hyundai Mobility Passport in Okinawa' event is also being held. Customers who complete a survey on the event page by Sunday 14th June will be entered into a draw to win a coupon worth 130,000 won (including top-grade guaranteed car insurance and unlimited expressway toll card support), which can be used when renting an Ioniq 5 or Kona Electric in Okinawa.
