Startruck Korea introduces 'Sales Agent' system

Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ official importer, Startruck Korea (CEO Dong Geun-tae), has announced the introduction of a ‘Sales Agent’ system to strengthen sales competitiveness and expand the market, and is moving to secure top sales talent.

The Sales Agent system has been established to expand customer touchpoints and respond more swiftly to regional customer demands. Sales Agents operate as independent business partners and are subject to a compensation structure based on sales performance. Once selected, Sales Agents will complete essential training, including Mercedes-Benz Trucks product knowledge, financial programmes, compliance and safety training, before commencing full-scale field activities.

Startruck Korea plans to build a flexible sales system that can respond more quickly to regional customer needs while maintaining the stability of its existing direct sales organisation. It will also provide product training, marketing support, sales tools and customer management systems to help Sales Agents focus on their sales activities, and will continue to support the enhancement of their expertise through regular training and the provision of market information.

Dong Geun-tae, CEO of Startruck Korea, said: “The Sales Agent system is not simply about recruiting additional staff; it is a new business model designed to enable sales talent with expertise and a spirit of challenge to demonstrate their capabilities. Based on a performance-driven compensation structure, we will secure outstanding talent, expand customer touchpoints, and strengthen our ability to respond to customers according to regional characteristics, thereby enhancing our market competitiveness.”

Meanwhile, further details regarding the recruitment of Sales Agents can be found on major job recruitment sites.
