The 'Seoul Classic Car Show 2026', co-hosted by the Korea Classic Car Association (Chairman Jeong Jae-shin, KCCA) and COEX (President Jo Sang-hyun) and organised by Autocar Korea, will be held at COEX in Seoul for three days from 30th October to 1st November.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Hyundai Grandeur in 1986. The Seoul Classic Car Show 2026 will feature programmes that reflect on a chapter of global automotive history, including the first-generation Grandeur, which holds symbolic significance within the flow of Korea's automotive industry and popular culture.

To this end, a 'First-Generation Grandeur Search Project' will be conducted, looking back at the first-generation Grandeur that left a powerful impression through the iconic 1990s drama "Sandglass". Selected vehicles from among the applications will receive a Korea Classic Car Association certification card, along with the opportunity to be displayed at the Seoul Classic Car Show 2026 and to be entered into a public classic car auction.

In addition, a 'My Classic Car Participation Programme' will also be run. Any owner of a classic car aged 30 years or older, regardless of domestic or international make, can apply to participate. Vehicles selected through screening will be displayed during the event and can take part in the classic car auction.

Jeong Jae-shin, Chairman of the Korea Classic Car Association, stated, "This year's event will be a festival where we can discover the hidden value of classic cars in an open square and enjoy them together," adding, "We particularly look forward to great interest and participation centred around the first-generation Grandeur, a classic saloon that embodies an era of the Korean automotive industry."
