Renault conducts 5th wireless update for Grand Koleos... product improvements reflecting customer requests

Renault Korea will roll out its fifth over-the-air software update for the mid-size SUV ‘Grand Koleos’ sequentially from 29 June. The update is delivered via the in-car openR panoramic screen without the need to visit a service centre, and focuses on optimisation based on user feedback and improvement requests.

Key improvements by control module in the fifth update

This update focuses on stabilising six control modules directly related to driving and convenience, including climate control, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and infotainment.

Air conditioning control module: optimisation of the air conditioning system's drive control logic to reduce continuous operating noise

Driver information module: improved notification messages and various sounds / enhanced head-up display (HUD) position memory function / added gear shift sound effects

Infotainment head unit: optimised welcome sound volume / added system settings menu for resetting the engine oil change service reminder

ADAS unit: improved ease of setting the lane departure prevention assist function

Battery control module (hybrid only): enhanced accessory power outlet compatibility

Propulsion control module (hybrid only): stabilised communication of the transmission oil pump
