SQDA Motors signs industry-academia cooperation agreement with Korea Polytechnic I University Seoul Jeongsu Campus

SQDA Motors (Lamborghini Seoul), the official domestic dealer of Lamborghini, announced on the 29th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for industry-academia cooperation with Korea Polytechnic I University's Seoul Jeongsu Campus on the 25th, aimed at fostering professional talent to lead the future mobility industry.

The signing ceremony took place at the main building of Korea Polytechnic I University's Seoul Jeongsu Campus, located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and was attended by acting dean Moon Kyung-ah of Korea Polytechnic I University, Park Jun-hyun, head of SQDA Motors, and officials from both organisations.

This agreement was pursued to link industry and education sectors, cultivate practical talent required in the future automotive industry, and establish a sustainable cooperation framework.

Key terms of the agreement include: ▲establishing a cooperation system through the exchange of technical information between industry and academia ▲supporting student internships and corporate visits ▲operating job placement-linked programmes ▲providing industry training for faculty and joint research collaboration ▲jointly developing curricula and educational materials ▲and supporting expert lectures from industry professionals.

In particular, SQDA Motors plans to collaborate on running internship and visit programmes to allow students to experience real industrial settings and deepen their understanding of automotive service and maintenance. Additionally, drawing on practical experience and expertise accumulated in the field, the company intends to participate in curriculum development and lecture programmes, contributing to the cultivation of future automotive industry talent.

Following the signing ceremony, a corporate introduction and career guidance session was held for current students. The event included a brand presentation, explanations of relevant job competencies and career preparation directions, as well as a Q&A session to engage with students.

As the automotive industry rapidly evolves around electrification and digitalisation, demand for practical talent ready to work in the field is increasing. Through this agreement, SQDA Motors aims to expand cooperation with educational institutions and strengthen the foundation for nurturing the talent needed for the development of the future mobility industry.
