DeWalt launches first vacuum pump for new garden tools and air conditioning work

DeWalt, the professional power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO: Hong Sung-wan), has launched a new lineup of garden tools and vacuum pumps designed to maximise outdoor work efficiency and respond to on-site conditions.

The '20V MAX Brushless 61cm Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT567)' features a blade length of 61cm and a blade spacing of 25mm, allowing for quick completion of wide-ranging tasks in a single cut. Equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor, it reduces heat generation and enables extended use. With a maximum stroke rate of 3,200 SPM (strokes per minute) based on dual-blade operation, it delivers consistent power, reduces vibration, and cuts even thick twigs cleanly. A metal tip guard protects the blades and prevents wear, ensuring safe and durable use even when working close to walls or the ground without worrying about blade damage.

The '20V MAX 20cm Compact Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT520)' has a compact design with a blade length of 20cm, overall length of 49cm, and height of 12cm, optimised for precision work. Weighing just 1.3kg as a bare tool, it allows for one-handed operation and features an overmoulded handle design to prevent slipping, minimising user fatigue. With a blade spacing of 8mm, a maximum stroke rate of 2,700 SPM based on dual-blade operation, and dual-action blades, it enables fast and accurate landscaping tasks.

The '160 Bar Cordless High-Pressure Washer (DEPW003MB)' is powered by an induction motor, delivering a maximum spray pressure of 160 bar and a water flow rate of 520 litres per hour. It can clean stubborn dirt and ingrained dust in a short time, and its wide working range supports various surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, and glass windows. To protect against external impacts and enhance durability, the motor is wound with copper and fitted with a brass pump.

The '20V MAX 5 CFM Vacuum Pump (DCE510)', a first-of-its-kind product from DeWalt, is a suction device used to create a perfect vacuum inside pipes during air conditioner installation. Equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor, it maintains a consistent vacuum speed while minimising battery consumption. With a high-performance suction capacity of 141 litres per minute, it can be used for a wide range of tasks, including residential, small to medium-sized commercial, and automotive air conditioning systems. Notably, its safety-focused design allows it to support vacuum work with the latest eco-friendly refrigerant systems using non-flammable gas (A2L) without the risk of sparks. A built-in automatic check valve prevents backflow of oil or air into the pipes in the event of a sudden pump stop due to battery discharge, enhancing user convenience.

The '160 Bar Cordless High-Pressure Washer (DEPW003MB)' is available as a corded product, while the '20V MAX 5 CFM Vacuum Pump (DCE510)' is offered as a bare tool. The '20V MAX Brushless 61cm Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT567)' and '20V MAX 20cm Compact Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT520)' are available as bare tools or in kit configurations that include a battery and charger.
