Chatbot Motors unveils '2026 Ram 1500' at Busan Motor Show

Chabot Motors (co-CEOs Jeong Jin-gu and Kang Seong-geun), Ram's Korean Approved Retail Partner, today (26th) unveiled two brand-new Ram 1500 models for the first time in Busan and the Yeongnam region at the '2026 Busan Mobility Show', marking a paradigm shift in the premium pickup truck segment.

The newly introduced Ram 1500 is an innovative next-generation model, replacing the previous large-displacement V8 engine with a high-efficiency, high-performance 3.0-litre Hurricane HO (High-Output) straight-six twin-turbo engine paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. It delivers explosive power with a maximum output of 540 horsepower and peak torque of 72.0 kg·m, achieving an impressive 0-60 mph (approximately 97 km/h) sprint in just 4.6 seconds.

The Ram 1500 is equipped with patented features that offer unparalleled practicality. These include the 'Multi-Function Tailgate', which integrates a 60:40 split swing-away function (opening sideways) with a drop-down tailgate, and the 'RamBox Cargo Management System'—lockable storage compartments on both sides of the load bed. The RamBox, in particular, is fully waterproof, featuring a drain plug and a built-in power outlet, allowing it to be used as a large ice chest or for various other purposes.

For the first time in a pickup truck, it features a dedicated '10.25-inch front passenger interactive display', enabling the passenger to access various multimedia content via a separate screen. In addition, the digital cockpit comprises over 50 inches of screens, including a central 14.4-inch large touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and a 10-inch head-up display (HUD). A 900-watt powerful amplifier and 19-speaker 'Harman Kardon Premium Audio System', combined with an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system, deliver a quiet, rich sound experience comparable to a luxury lounge.

Furthermore, over 100 advanced safety features come as standard, including the 'Trailer Reverse Steering Control' system, which assists with easy reversing via a centre console dial, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
