«Moscow Mile 2026»: Retro Legends, Prize Fund and Free Entry for Spectators

On 25 and 26 July 2026, the long-awaited event of the year for all fans of technical sports will take place at the RDRC Racepark multifunctional complex in the Ramenskoye district – the 'Moscow Mile 2026' speed festival.

NEW GT RETRO CLASS: The Return of Legends

For the first time in the history of the Moscow Mile, rare youngtimers will take to the start line. The special GT RETRO class will feature iconic cars from the 80s and 90s that have retained their racing spirit and are ready to show their mettle over the 3/8-mile (603-metre) distance. The retro-class runs promise to be among the most spectacular and nostalgic moments of the festival.

COMPETITION FORMAT AND PRIZE FUND

The race takes the form of paired runs over a 3/8-mile distance. During the first and second days, participants, divided into classes (GT1-GT7, GT RETRO), carry out qualifying runs in free mode with the best clean time (ET) being recorded. Once qualifying is complete, a TOP-8 grid is formed in each class. The competition then moves into the play-off stage: paired runs follow the Olympic elimination system (first loss eliminates), guaranteeing maximum drama and unpredictable results right up to the finish line.

Special nominations and prize fund

The organisers have put together a prize fund to reward participants in the various categories (GT1-GT7, GT RETRO). They have also expanded the list of special prizes to recognise outstanding achievements by participants. Cash certificates of 100,000 roubles each will be awarded to the winners of the following categories: 'Reactive Battery' – best time among electric vehicles. 'Mongoose Reaction' – best reaction to the starting lights (RT). 'Stakhanovite' – the participant who completes the greatest number of runs over the two days. 'Moscow Mile Queen' – the absolute best time among all female participants. Best speed over the 1/4 mile. Best time over the 3/8 mile (absolute festival record). Best time over the 1/4 mile.

FESTIVAL HOSTS

Commentating on the action trackside will be the true voices of Russian motorsport: Sergei Gervash – the project's regular host, well known to all Moscow Mile fans. Anton Shiryaev – the famous motorsport commentator whose voice is known to millions of supporters.

SPECTATOR PROGRAMME: FREE ENTRY!

The organisers have prepared an extensive entertainment programme for guests of all ages, and best of all – entry to the festival is completely free for all spectators. What awaits guests: An exhibition of rare cars and supercars – a unique opportunity to see machinery that rarely leaves private collections. Guided bus tours of the circuit – an exclusive chance to drive the track and see the racing infrastructure from the inside. Free shuttle service from Bykovo station – get to the venue comfortably and without traffic jams. A strength tournament – test yourself next to the race track. Racing simulator competitions – feel like a driver in virtual reality and battle it out for speed behind the wheel of a simulator. Drift taxi, a children's zone and food courts – entertainment to suit every taste. As always, the competition will be broadcast live on the DSC OFF channel on VK.

Sunday, 26 July 09:00-10:30 – Medical checks. 11:00 – Start of qualifying (final stage), broadcast begins. 11:00 – Spectator entry. 15:00-15:45 – Technical break.
