К старту продаж в РФ готовится Tenet Plus L4: стали известны технические подробности

The crossover, officially announced last month by the young Russian brand, will hit the market in the third quarter of 2026.

The AGR holding company, together with the Chinese firm Defetoo, is launching yet another new brand on the Russian automotive market, which has been given the name Tenet Plus; this became known in the first half of February 2026. The first model officially announced by the company was the mid-size crossover with the L6 index, with the announcement appearing on 18 June 2026. However, its 'younger brother' – the Tenet Plus L4 – was revealed by the brand even earlier, in February, although an official announcement was not forthcoming until 24 June.

Now the brand's press office has revealed the first details about the equipment and technical specifications of the upcoming newcomer. For those who need reminding, the 'twin' of the Tenet Plus L4 is the Chinese crossover Lepas L4 (a brand within the Chery corporation's portfolio). The overall length of the new Russian-brand model is 4,505 mm, the width is 1,820 mm, the height is 1,635 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2,700 mm.

The Tenet Plus L4's exterior has much in common with its 'big brother' with the L6 index. This includes, among other things, the two-tier front lighting with a distinctive pattern of LED daytime running lights in the upper section, and a large radiator grille with a chrome surround and a diamond-shaped pattern converging towards the logo. The model features a plastic body kit around the perimeter of the body, a panoramic sunroof and roof rails, and two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the eco-leather-trimmed cabin of the Tenet Plus L4, there are front seats with extended cushions and electric adjustment, a three-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons, a steering-column-mounted selector for switching driving electronic modes, and an 8-inch virtual instrument cluster. In the centre of the dashboard sits a vertical touchscreen for the infotainment system, with a diagonal of 13.2 inches. The model also comes with a wireless smartphone charging pad (with a power output of 50 W).

The equipment list for the Russian-brand crossover includes: six airbags (including front, side and curtain airbags), cruise control with a speed limiter, climate control, keyless entry and push-button engine start, rollover stability control, and a range of other safety systems and driver assistance features. The Tenet Plus L4 has also been prepared for the fitment of a tow bar, rated for towing a trailer weighing up to 750 kg.

Both Tenet Plus models are based on the PMA (Plus Modular Architecture) platform, and they also share their mechanicals. So the L4-indexed crossover will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with multipoint fuel injection. Its maximum power output is 147 bhp, with peak torque of 225 Nm. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed automated manual transmission with twin clutches.

As previously reported, the upcoming crossover will appear on the Russian market in the third quarter of 2026. Production of the Tenet Plus L4, like that of its 'big brother', will be set up at one of the plants in Russia owned by the AGR holding company. Information about the start of sales and pricing will be announced at a later date.
