Третий этап «Серия Классика – 2026» на Moscow Raceway: ретроатмосфера и зрелищные заезды

The "CLASSIC SERIES" season is in full swing: after the tense Nizhny Novgorod round, where passions ran high not only on the track but also in the pits due to serious mechanical retirements, fans can look forward to an even more action-packed event. The third round of the seventh season will take place on 25 July at the Moscow Raceway – one of the most demanding and spectacular circuits in Russian motorsport.

This time, the organisers have prepared not only classic racing battles in fighting vintage cars, but also a whole series of special events that will make the day truly festive. As part of the round, a large-scale retro exhibition will be held, bringing together the finest exhibits from car clubs and private collections – from iconic Soviet models to rare foreign cars that have become legends of the global automotive industry.

A special programme has been prepared for exhibition participants and guests: a spectacular retro autocross slalom (a high-speed manoeuvring competition) where drivers will demonstrate flawless skill in handling classic cars, and a ceremonial retro parade – an impressive procession of historic vehicles that will serve as a fitting finale to the racing day.

Particular attention has been paid to families: in the paddock, an incredible interactive children's zone will be set up with pedal cars from TSS Group and "Preobrazhensky Garage", where children can drive around a real miniature racing track and receive gifts.

The seventh season of the "CLASSIC SERIES" is held with the support of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). The title partner of the Series is YOKOHAMA.

An important role in the running of the season is played by ROLF, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. With its support, numerous activities aimed at developing motorsport culture are being implemented. The company also places emphasis on family values and organises a comfortable environment for young visitors with face painting and an entertainer – "ROLF for Children". Young guests will be able not only to relax but also to discover the world of motorsport in a playful way. Additional partner support is provided by the universal regional bank "Zemsky Bank" and TSS Group – a group of companies specialising in the production of completion systems for the construction and reconstruction of oil and gas wells.

An extra dose of adrenaline will be delivered to guests by Ilya Kamensky's School of Extreme Driving – a long-standing friend and partner of the "CLASSIC SERIES". As part of the round, drift taxi and race taxi will be organised: anyone can experience the speed and dynamics of professional driving by taking a ride with experienced instructors.

It is worth recalling that the second round, held on 27 June at the Nizhny Novgorod Ring circuit, was remembered by fans not only for the close battles across various classes, but also for its dramatic moments – including serious mechanical retirements that reshuffled the order literally on the final laps. The battle in Class A5 was particularly tense, where Pavel Tseplyaev, despite two mechanical retirements, demonstrated impressive pace and a will to win. Another highlight of the round was the victory of 14-year-old Zlata Sidorenko in Class A2/1-1600 – the season debutant secured a winning double and proved that a passion for motorsport knows no age limits.

The third round promises no fewer thrills: the best drivers will gather at Moscow Raceway, piloting iconic Zhigulis, Moskvichs, Volgas and foreign classics. Fans can look forward to races across various classes, including the traditional competitions and the RAF Cup, where representatives of different eras and schools of motorsport will go head-to-head.

The focus now shifts to Moscow: the third round of the "Classic Series" will be the first step towards claiming the prestigious trophy. At the Moscow rounds of the series, a two-round Moscow Cup will be contested. Within the Cup, prize positions will be determined in the following categories: Touring, Touring-Light, Super-Production, Lada and Sport Prototype CN.

The Classic Series races in the 2026 season are held jointly with the friendly Championship and Cup of the Republic of Belarus.

Detailed results from the second round and up-to-date information about the third round are available on the Series' official website.

Everyone will have the opportunity to witness thrilling races, see legendary cars up close and immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of retro racing.
