Classic Series 2026" at Moscow Raceway, third round – success, emotion and retro magic!

On 25 July, the Moscow Raceway circuit became the epicentre of motorsport passion, hosting the third round of the seventh season of the 'Classic Series'. The event brought together classic car enthusiasts, professional drivers and families with children, offering each and every one their own dose of adrenaline and unforgettable impressions.

Racing: a battle to the very last metre

On one of the most demanding circuits in Russian motorsport, the finest drivers went head-to-head at the wheels of iconic Zhigulis, Moskvichs, Volgas and foreign classics. Spectators witnessed close-fought battles across various classes, as well as rounds of the two-stage Moscow Cup – in the Touring, Touring-Light, Super-Production, Lada and Sport Prototype CN categories. The races carried added significance thanks to their RAF Cup status: representatives of different eras and schools of motorsport met on the track.

An international dimension

This season, the 'Classic Series' runs alongside the friendly Championship and Cup of the Republic of Belarus – further proof that the love of classic cars and the spirit of racing knows no borders.

Retro atmosphere: exhibition, slalom and parade

The day's unique atmosphere was created by a large-scale retro exhibition: car clubs and private collectors presented true legends – from iconic Soviet models to rare foreign automobiles. The picture was completed by a spectacular retro car slalom, in which drivers demonstrated exquisite skill in high-speed manoeuvring, and a ceremonial retro parade – an impressive procession of historic vehicles that provided a fitting finale to the racing day.

A family affair: a day out for all the family

The organisers placed particular emphasis on comfort and entertainment for younger guests. The paddock featured an interactive children's zone from TSS Group and 'Garage of Preobrazhensky' – children rode pedal cars around a mini-circuit, took part in mini-races, received gifts and felt like true racing drivers.

The seventh season of the 'Classic Series' is held with the support of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). The title partner of the Series is Yokohama, one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers.

An important role in the running of the season is played by 'Rolf', which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. With its support, a host of activities aimed at developing motorsport culture are being delivered. The company also places a strong emphasis on family values and presented a large-scale exhibition of show cars in the paddock, as well as organising an engaging environment for young visitors with face painting, entertainers, claw machines and candy floss – 'ROLF for Children'.

Partner support also comes from the universal regional bank 'Zemsky Bank', which offers its clients every type of banking service, including comprehensive servicing for private and corporate clients, providing them with the most comfortable and secure conditions for cooperation.

TSS Group has also supported the competitions for several years – a group of companies specialising in the manufacture of completion systems for the construction and reconstruction of oil and gas wells.

For thrill-seekers

A real treat for speed enthusiasts came in the form of the programme from Ilya Kamensky's School of Extreme Driving: drift taxi and race taxi rides allowed anyone to experience the dynamics of professional driving alongside experienced instructors.
