Tenet Plus L6 set for Russian market launch: trim line-up revealed

The crossover from the young "local" brand will be sold in two versions – Elegant and Ultra. Prices for the trims will be announced at a later date.
News of the arrival on the Russian car market of a brand named Tenet Plus first emerged in February 2026: it is the latest result of the partnership between the Russian holding company "AGR" and the Chinese firm Defetoo. The role of the brand's debut model is set to be played by the mid-size crossover Tenet Plus L6, which was unveiled in mid-June 2026, with its technical specifications published at the end of that same month. Now, the brand's press office has revealed the trim line-up.

The Tenet Plus L6 will be offered on the Russian market in two trims – Elegant and Ultra. Even the entry-level version comes with an extended winter pack, which includes remote engine start, heated seats for the first and second rows, as well as a heated steering wheel, heated windscreen and heated washer jets.

The list of standard equipment for the model includes: seven airbags, including front and side airbags, plus window curtains; rear parking sensors, a 540° panoramic surround-view camera system, blind-spot monitoring, cruise control, as well as hill-start assist, lane-change assist and rear cross-traffic assist. The SUV is offered with three driving modes – Comfort, Eco and Sport.

The base version of the Tenet Plus L6 is fitted with dual-zone climate control and two displays mounted on the dashboard: one, with an 8.8-inch diagonal, serves as the virtual instrument cluster, while the second is a vertical tablet for the infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, measuring 13.2 inches diagonally. There is also a wireless smartphone charging pad (rated at 50 W).

Meanwhile, the Tenet Plus L6 in the top-spec Ultra trim is equipped with: 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof with a sliding sunroof, a powered tailgate, and exterior mirrors with integrated puddle lights. This version also features ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable lumbar support for the driver's seat, and a Sony sound system with eight speakers.

The Ultra variant also comes with: adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assist, an automatic emergency braking system that recognises cars, pedestrians and cyclists, a traffic jam assist, as well as lane departure prevention, emergency lane keeping, door-opening hazard warning and intelligent high-beam control.

The company noted that all versions of the Tenet Plus L6 feature seals along the leading edge of the bonnet and on the front wings, which help protect the engine bay from dirt. The underside of the bonnet also has thermal and acoustic insulation. The overall length of the SUV is 4,554 mm, width – 1,852 mm, height – 1,681 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Ground clearance stands at 187 mm.

At launch, the Tenet Plus L6 will be available only with front-wheel drive and a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 147 hp (maximum torque – 225 Nm), paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox. Later, an all-wheel-drive version will arrive on the Russian market, powered by a 150-hp engine with a VGT turbocharger featuring variable turbine geometry and direct fuel injection. Its displacement is 1.5 litres, torque – 270 Nm, and it comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Prices and the sales launch date for the new model will be announced at a later date.
