BYD to Participate as Official Sponsor of 'Water Bomb Seoul 2026'… Vehicle Display and Souvenir Giveaways

BYD Korea is expanding its engagement with customers by participating as an official sponsor of the summer music festival 'WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026'. BYD Korea will operate a brand exhibition and experience programme at the 'WATERBOMB SEOUL 2026' event, held from 24 to 26 July at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province. The BYD indoor exhibition space will showcase the mid-sized plug-in hybrid SUV 'BYD Sealion 6 DM-i', while the outdoor brand booth will feature a V2L (Vehicle to Load) experience zone using the compact electric hatchback 'BYD Dolphin'.

This exhibition will introduce BYD's design philosophy and electrification technology, with the space configured to allow visitors to experience the brand through vehicle displays and interactive programmes. In particular, the V2L experience zone offers visitors the chance to explore the practicality of electric vehicles and encounter BYD's electrification technology in everyday contexts.

Throughout the event, a variety of participatory activities will also be held for customers who visit the BYD brand zone. Participants will receive commemorative gifts suited to the Waterbomb concept, such as waterproof bags and reusable bags, with additional prizes to be awarded through on-site events.

A BYD Korea official stated, "We hope this serves as an opportunity for visitors to become more familiar with BYD's electrification technology and brand within the cool and dynamic atmosphere of Waterbomb," adding, "We will continue to expand communication with more customers through marketing activities linked to various cultural content in the future."

Meanwhile, BYD Korea plans to strengthen brand experiences that connect with customers' daily lives and culture. Through collaborations with cultural content such as music, sports and lifestyle, the company aims to expand opportunities for customers to experience the BYD brand and its electrification technology.
