Harman Kardon offers premium audio experience at Kia PBV Experience Centre

Harman Kardon, a brand under Samsung subsidiary HARMAN International Korea, will be running a brand collaboration for four weeks from Friday 12th June to Friday 10th July at the Kia PBV Experience Centre, located in Cheongbuk-eup, Pyeongtaek-si (85-29 Cheongwon-ro).

Kia's PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle), the PV5, is a mobility solution based on a flat floor and spacious interior, allowing the vehicle's form and function to be adapted to the user's needs. Kia plans to lead the PBV ecosystem by producing around 40 different vehicle types sharing a single platform, starting with passenger and cargo models.

Harman Kardon is an audio brand that creates sound. From cars to home cinema, home audio, Bluetooth speakers and headphones, it has been loved by consumers for its beautiful sound, delivered through audio engineering and stylish design.

The brand collaboration between Harman Kardon and the Kia PBV Experience Centre has been designed to offer visitors a lifestyle and emotional experience, showcasing how Harman Kardon lifestyle products harmonise with the flexible interior layout of Kia PBV vehicles.

Harman Kardon's lifestyle products combine light, sound and design to enhance a space, breathe life into music, and create visually immersive moments.

Inside the Kia PBV Experience Centre, Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker products — including the SOUNDSTICKS 5, AURA STUDIO 5, LUNA, GO PLAY 3, and ONYX STUDIO 8 — have been arranged to suit the lifestyle zone configurations, delivering an emotional experience to visitors.

The lifestyle zone consists of the Harman Kardon Harmony Living Zone, which creates a mood reminiscent of a home living room; the Harman Kardon Harmony Camping Zone, which completes an outdoor style using the PV5 passenger model and Harman Kardon products; and the Harman Kardon Harmony Cabin Zone, where visitors can enjoy the light and sound of the SOUNDSTICKS 5 inside a PV5 cargo model wrapped in Harman Kardon's Blossom colour, experiencing the emotion that Harman Kardon conveys.

The Harman Kardon SOUNDSTICKS 5, a lifestyle product showcasing the Harman Kardon brand identity, goes beyond being a simple speaker, offering a sculptural presence with newly applied ambient lighting effects. The Harman Kardon AURA STUDIO 5 creates visual effects that harmonise with music through a multi-layer lighting projection system, with light softly spreading across walls and ceilings or gently enveloping the transparent dome.

Meanwhile, after experiencing each zone, visitors who upload a verification post to their Instagram with official account tags (@harmankardon_kor, @kia.kor) can instantly check if they have won via a capsule machine on site, with prizes including a Harman Kardon LUNA Bluetooth speaker, Harman Kardon branded cups, and coffee vouchers.

Additionally, visitors are offered the extra benefit of purchasing exhibition products at a discounted price. By scanning the QR code placed next to the products, customers can purchase items at a discount and also receive a cultural gift voucher.

Since 2015, HARMAN International has been supplying Harman Kardon car audio sound systems to Kia. Through collaboration between Kia and Harman's sound development engineers, these systems are currently offered as an optional feature on models including the Kia All-New Seltos, Niro, Tasman, EV3, EV4, EV5, and the overseas-launched EV2.
