Kia unveils new PV5 lineup and industry-specific collaboration models at the '2026 Busan Mobility Show', presenting its vision for expanding electrified mobility through PBVs.

At this mobility show, which runs from Press Day on the 26th to July 5th at BEXCO in Busan, Kia will display its full EV lineup and the Vision MetaTourismo, and introduce three new PV5 models. It will also unveil collaboration models linked with external ecosystems, showcasing the potential for PBV business expansion.

**Three New PV5 Models Unveiled... Expanding Lineup Tailored to Customers and Business Sites**

Kia will reveal three new PV5-based models at the Busan Mobility Show: the Passenger 7-Seater (2-2-3), the Prime, and the Cargo High Roof.

The PV5 Passenger 7-Seater features a 2-2-3 seat layout with the second-row seats positioned on one side to enhance third-row accessibility, catering to demand for multi-passenger family cars, rental cars, and shuttle buses. Convenience features such as a rear air conditioning system, heated rear seats, and USB Type-C charging ports have been added.

The PV5 Prime is a conversion model based on the PV5 Passenger, offering a premium mobility experience with independent rear seats, rails, and ventilated seats. Exterior enhancements include exclusive colors like Moonscape Mat Gray and Snow White Pearl, along with black skid plates, alloy wheels, and a dedicated emblem to boost product appeal.

Developed in response to the growing demand for van-type electric cargo vehicles and changing work methods, the PV5 Cargo High Roof increases interior height by 295mm compared to the existing PV5 Cargo Long and offers an optional walk-through function for moving between the driver's seat and cargo area. It is expected to be highly useful for parcel delivery drivers or those handling bulky goods.

Kia plans to further expand the PV5 lineup with a Passenger 5-Seater (1-2-2) for taxis and demand-responsive mobility, a dedicated van for small business owners, and models specialized for outdoor and leisure activities.

**Industry-Specific Collaboration Models Utilizing PV5 Platform Flexibility**

In addition to the three new PV5 models, Kia will showcase PV5 collaboration models being developed with key customers and PBV conversion partners, leveraging the platform's flexibility.

The 'AI Patrol Car', developed in collaboration with the Korean National Police Agency, is based on the PV5 Passenger 5-Seater and designed to detect hazards early and support ground-air integrated patrols. It features three 4K AI cameras and a drone station on the roof, with monitors installed inside and at the rear.

The 'Mobile Pet Pop-up Store', created in collaboration with pet product platform Fitpet based on the PV5 Cargo, features an open side design for easy viewing of various products. It also utilizes partner company K-Van's shelving and storage module technology, allowing visitors to easily compare and experience products.

The 'Mobile Bank', developed with partner company KC Motors, is a specialized vehicle based on the PV5 Cargo High Roof, designed as a mobile office concept allowing upright activity inside. It features a rotating desk and an additional battery for business use, catering to mobile business needs of financial and public institutions.

The 'Motorcycle Transport Vehicle', being developed by partner company Boga, will be exhibited in collaboration with motorcycle brand Ducati Korea. Designed for racing users, leisure riders, and professional motorcycle transport/logistics needs, it features various rails and racks inside the PV5 Cargo-based model for stable loading and transport.

Additionally, Kia will present the 'Children's School Bus', developed in collaboration with specialized partner iBus for transporting preschool children, and the 'Ice Cream Truck', a PV5 Chassis Cab-based collaboration model with partner company Primo for mobile sales and on-site promotions, at this mobility show.

Models developed in collaboration with partners are scheduled to be sequentially launched as partner brand products from the second half of this year.

**EV & PBV Exhibition: Expanding Customer Touchpoints and Sharing Vision through Diverse Experiential Content**

At the Busan Mobility Show, Kia will set up three exhibition zones – 'EV Gallery', 'PBV Village', and 'PV5 Partners Zone' – to showcase the full EV lineup and various PV5 application models to visitors.

The 'EV Gallery' will display the EV3, EV4 GT, EV5, EV6 GT, EV9, and the Vision MetaTourismo. The 'PV5 Partners Zone' will feature real-world industry use cases developed with key customers and partners, along with various business models based on them.

Furthermore, the 'PBV Village' will exhibit the three new PBV models along with two additional models like the Ice Cream Truck and Children's School Bus, and will also feature marketing activities to broaden engagement with kids and family customers.

Kia will use the global IP 'Bebefinn' from The Pinkfong Company to create photo zones, performances, merchandise, and branded content, familiarly conveying the utility of the Children's School Bus and PV5 Passenger 7-Seater models. The Ice Cream Truck, created in collaboration with Ben & Jerry's, will help expand touchpoints with families with young children.

Throughout the Busan Mobility Show, Kia will operate viewing and participatory content such as AI-based vehicle recommendations, PV5 utility experience, and EV persona photo content, allowing visitors to experience Kia's products and brand in an easy and fun way.

Kia also plans to operate EV test drive programs in collaboration with famous Busan brands like Lee Jae Mo Pizza and Wave On Coffee, allowing visitors to experience the vehicle's driving performance and practical convenience in real consumption scenarios.

Additionally, Kia will expand its brand merchandise 'Kia Collection' into lifestyle products such as clothing and accessories at this mobility show. The new collection will be previewed at the Busan Mobility Show site and will be available for sale through 'Kia Shop' starting at the end of July.
